Free Gift Bag from Bath and Body Works Does not Work

I am writing to inform you all that the free gift bags from Bath and Body Works are only free if you make an additional purchase. I received this email from them:

"Dear Fragrance Fan,

We hope your Holiday Season is Merry and Bright! Our elves informed us of your order for our free Cello Bags and Ribbon with purchase. Unfortunately, without a purchase we are unable to fulfill this request and at this time we no longer have this gifting option available.  We do invite you back to BathandBodyWorks.com to mark any last minute gifts off your list. 

Thank you for your interest in Bath and Body Works and have a safe and happy Holiday Season!"

It's unfortunate that we were allowed to complete an order for them without making a purchase, but it is completely up to the company to decide whether they would like to honor a free promotion. Accidents happen!

There ARE plenty of companies that DO offer free items with no purchase though! A couple of these are Udi's Free Meal packages and Schick Hydro Experience. I just received my package from Udi's today and it looks like the promotion is still going on. The Schick promotion is over but they are having a giveaway for a trip!
